SET 1 · Window Display

Behind the glass, facing the street

Mounted indoors, viewed from outside. This is the hardest place to put a screen and the place most retail brands want one.

High-brightness display behind a restaurant window in direct daylight

A window display fights two things at once. The daylight outside is far brighter than anything a normal panel emits, and the glass itself traps heat, which is where cheaper panels turn grey and start to darken from the edges in.

Our window line answers both. Brightness runs from 2500 to 5000 nit depending on the size, and the panel uses the M+ structure so it stays black where it should be black even when the glass behind it is warm. A light sensor tracks the ambient level so the display is not sitting at maximum output on an overcast morning.

What comes with a window SET

Light sensor

Brightness follows ambient light. The sensor position is adjustable by 20 mm by design, so it can be placed where the glass does not shade it.

Temperature sensor

Fan operation is driven by LCD temperature, which is what keeps a panel behind glass from throttling.

Blackening-free panel

No darkening behind heated glass — the failure that ends most window installations.

Portrait or landscape

Every panel in the line mounts either way, so the display follows the window rather than the other way round.

Window display questions

No. A window display is an indoor product: the glass is the weather barrier. Sealing matters for the outdoor line, not this one.
That is what the temperature sensor and fan are for. Fan operation follows LCD temperature rather than running constantly.
Yes. Every panel in the line supports both landscape and portrait installation.
Through the glass, no — but we build 32 ″ P-CAP 10-point touch models with 3T tempered glass for indoor-facing installations.

Send us a photo of the window

Orientation, glass type and which way it faces decide the brightness. A photo and a compass direction gets you a real answer.
